What a fantastic wedding with incredible people for Luca and Cat’s wedding at The Haybarn in Herefordshire.

“Finding a photographer for our wedding day was very important to myself and Cat. We wanted to ensure each moment was captured in a natural and candid manner.
Colin's documentary style of photography was exactly what we were looking for and he exceeded our expectations in every way.

For the most part, Colin seemed invisible; he was never getting in anyone's way, everyone around him felt at ease but at the same time, we knew all of our cherished moments were being captured.

On the day, Colin was punctual and organised, ensuring all of our planned photographs were accounted for. His friendly and approachable personality made being in front of the camera comfortable and in turn made for some beautiful images.

Luca and Cat got married at The Haybarn in Herefordshire which is a lovely farm wedding venue and one that I’ve had the pleasure of working at many times before.

It has this wonderful open barn for the ceremony which just floods with light from the back and side, which also means it’s really easy to move around and cover all the angles.

My day started with a quick meeting of everyone, which is really useful on a wedding day as I can start to identify everyone right from the off. We started with bridal and groom prep which is always a nice slow pace to the day, but one which I love to capture as I feel it sets up the final wedding gallery with a really nice start.

Luca and Cat were both looking incredible in their wedding attire as they exchanged their vows and were showered with confetti by their wedding guests.

The rest of the day was drinks and canapés, with food, speeches and dancing. We got very lucky at the end of the day when a sliver of sunlight game through for golden hour, which lasted all of 5 minutes, but long enough to get some cracking final portraits of the couple.

All in all an adorable wedding with wonderful people.
